Coffey's Hill, Clane

This most recognisable part of an extended esker system was part of a natural prehistoric roadway leading from Naas to Meath. The modern Kilcock Road runs at the foot of the hill at the edge of the former Loughbollard Lake. (See The Shady Roads to Clane).
