Seeds

Certified seeds, which can be bought from the co-op, are usually used. The use of such seeds ensures a high level of varietal purity (98%) and germination (85%) as well as a guarantee that the seeds are free from fungi and wild oats. All maize seed is treated with Mesurol, which gives full protection against bird damage and sufficient control of frit fly.
